Breakfast at Traditions
Breakfast has always been our favorite meal, and
Bev has at least ten breakfasts which we have been refining...... . She
serves a fruit plate with juice to get started, and a main dish to follow.
We grind our own coffee beans (decaf or regular) and brew it hot and strong, tea
is available too, we keep several types in the pantry, including herbals.
Breakfast is accompanied by soft music which is usually overpowered by the
morning conversations between people wanting to know each other, its a
delightful time.

Those strawberries and cherries you see below are
grown within a 5 minute walk from our back door, and if you are here late June
and early July I will most likely take a morning walk to get some for breakfast,
you may already have had these strawberries in a popular gourmet breakfast jam!

Peach
French Toast
Texas Toast soaked all
night in a milk, vanilla and egg mixture, is laid over a bed of peaches
with brown sugar sauce and baked. Served with bacon or sausage,
Bev's choice, and Michigan pure Maple Syrup.
Hobo
Scramble
Eggs, sausage, onions
chopped spinach, tomatoes and Swiss cheese baked, served with home made
muffins
Banana
Nut Pancakes
Scratch pancakes with
bananas and pecan nuts mixed in, topped with whipped cream cheese and a
garnish. Served with bacon or sausage,

Pizza
Quiche
Crescent rolls, eggs,
sausage, vegetables and cheese baked in combination with a few spices produce
the best "pizza" you've ever had for breakfast!
Egg
and sausage Quiche
Browned sausage,
shredded Swiss cheese chopped onions and eggs baked to perfection make this a
favorite. Served with home baked muffins
Praline French Toast
French bread slices
in a milk, vanilla and egg mixture, is laid over a bed of chopped pecans
with a brown sugar sauce and baked. Served with bacon
or sausage, Bev's choice and Michigan pure Maple syrup.
Apple
Baked French Toast
Eggs bread vanilla
cinnamon nutmeg and apples baked for about an hour and topped with real maple
syrup will start your day off right. Served with bacon
or sausage, Bev's choice.
Zucchini Pie
Zucchini, onion,
tomatoes, sharp cheese and eggs and other ingredients combine to give a
delightful vegetarian breakfast. Served with home baked muffins.
